Compared to traditional fossil fuels, the high calorific value characteristic of TDF makes it an ideal alternative fuel for energy-intensive facilities such as cement kilns and pulp and paper production. A South African environmental enterprise stated: “The TDF substitute fuel derived from waste tires will ultimately be used in industrial kilns at cement plants, with a heat value of 7500 kcal, which is 20% higher than that of coal. The TDF obtained through Harden’s processing system is more uniform and finer, resulting in a more stable combustion heat value fluctuation in actual applications within industrial kilns, perfectly meeting our requirements.”


Harden's TDF production system not only aims to enhance energy efficiency but also provides solutions for reducing dependence on fossil fuels. Currently, South Africa generates approximately 300,000 tons of waste tires annually, yet its recycling rate is less than 20%.
